Opportunities to participate in relevant studies/trials:
Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) affects more women than men and is often diagnosed during a woman’s childbearing years. Many young women with RA may be concerned about the impact of their condition on pregnancy, on their unborn child and on their ability to manage parenting, along with how these things will in turn affect their RA. This study aims to develop a Decision Aid (DA) resource which will help young women with RA to make informed decisions about pregnancy and motherhood, and encourage a shared decision making process with health professionals.
