This course has been developed by Arthritis South Australia for people with a musculoskeletal conditions (such as arthritis) and for those with chronic pain. It aims to help people implement healthy behaviour change and to use self-management principles to reduce their pain.
Specific program topics include: causes and treatments for pain; medications; complementary therapies; healthy eating; and physical activity and exercise.
This course runs once a week over two weeks, with each session running between 2-2 ½ hours.
