The role of non-pharmacological approaches to pain management is evolving, and some non-pharmacological and complementary therapies have an increasingly important contribution to make to holistic patient care alongside analgesics.
This webinar is being presented by Tumelo Dube, Physiotherapist at the Pain Management and Research Centre located at the Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney.

Presenter: Tumelo Dube
Tumelo Dube is a Physiotherapist at the Pain Management and Research Centre located at the Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney. He completed his Bachelors degree in Exercise and Sports Science and Physiotherapy at Griffith University. He went on to do a Masters of Medical Science (Pain Management) at Sydney University. Currently, he is wading into the research world and has recently completed a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) skills training course.
Clinically, Tumelo has worked in aged care and post-surgical rehabilitation where pain management was always a key feature. He further pursued his interest in pain management at the Pain Management and Research Centre where he is involved in the ADAPT and BPSM Pain Management programs, involving clinical assessment and management of chronic pain patients. Apart from his clinical work, Tumelo is an active member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association as the NSW committee member for the Pain Network.

Cancellations and refunds
Please note that as per section 7.2 of our Fees & Pricing Policy, if an event or service does not attract sufficient registrations, fees, sponsorship and/or donations to break even, Arthritis & Osteoporosis NSW reserves the right to cancel or postpone the event. In such an event, participants who have registered will be provided with four options: 1) The registration fee may be retained for participation on the revised date. 2) The registration fee may be reallocated to another Arthritis & Osteoporosis NSW event or service. 3) A full refund may be provided, with the option to re-register at future events. 4) The participant may choose to allocate the registration fee as a tax-deductible donation to Arthritis & Osteoporosis NSW.
